How can I activate and deactivate my data?

ANDROID and APPLE:

1. Open the Configuration menu on your phone, select the mobile data icon to activate or deactivate the option:

2. When using Wifi to prevent unnecessary data consumption activate plane mode as well:

How can I avoid data consumption with apps I don't regularly use?

APPLE:

Select Configuration menu >> Mobile Data:

On the menu below, underneath the title "celular data” you can activate and deactivate the use of on data on each app.

Green color represents the app uses data and grey indicates you can only use the app with WiFi.

ANDROID:

1.Select Configuration menu >> Apps:

2. Select the app you wish to deactivate data consumption.

3. Inside each app option there is a title "Mobile Data", click and deactivate the authorization of data usage:

If my phone is not conecting authomatically, how can I activate mi roaming data manually?

APPLE:

Select Configuration menu>> Mobile data >> Options>> Roaming data activate. Voice and Data menu >> Select 3G or deactivate 4G. Go back to Configuration menu and select Operator option >> Deactivate automatic mode >> Select operator manually

ANDROID:

Select Apps >> Adjustments >> Mobile data >> Activate Roaming data. Select network mode >>Select only WCDMA or 3G. Select network operator>> Search for available networks >> Select operator manually

I hired a roaming data package from Telcel but once I activated it I can't see the Telcel icon on my phone

Since you are abroad, once you reset your phone it will pick up the mobile services of a local company, this is normal.

If you are in the USA or Canada and your mobile plan in Mexico Includes data usage, calls and messages in North America your mobile services will also be provided by local carriers.

How can I track my data consumption once my roaming package is activated?

You can ask us to monitor your consumption at soporte@playtelecom.com and keep you informed during your trip, so you can keep track of your data usage and if necessary advise the purchase of another roaming package.
